What JiVS is for
JiVS, from Data Migration International, is a platform for enterprise migration, historical data and application decommissioning. Its distinctive strength sits after the migration headline: carrying historical data and its business context once the source application is retired, so the history stays accessible and auditable without the legacy system running underneath it.
In the architectures we design, that makes JiVS most relevant to legacy decommissioning and historical data strategy on SAP programmes: separating what must move operationally into S/4HANA from what must be retained, queryable, for audit and compliance.
