Ixia Consulting was founded around a simple principle: major transformation succeeds or fails on the quality, movement and control of its data.

More than two decades later, the technology has changed dramatically. That principle has not.

Today Ixia combines deep enterprise delivery experience with modern data engineering, automation, analytics and AI. We are a specialist firm by choice: senior practitioners, working inside the delivery, on the programmes where the data is the risk.

We have been called into failing SAP go-lives, broken migrations, dirty-data disasters and forgotten analytics platforms, and turned them around. The habits that built come through in everything we deliver: evidence over assurance, reconciliation over reassurance, and the same people from kickoff to cutover.

When clients need the people rather than the programme, our resourcing practice places the same calibre of senior consultants directly into enterprise teams.

    Ixia Consulting established in South Africa.

  2. 2008

    SAP data migration framework era: contribution to framework development work at SAP Labs, followed by multiple SAP AG engagements. Wording under verification.

  3. 2014

    Published work on accelerated data warehousing and analytics. First BIWorx materials engineered around SAP data quality tooling.

  4. 2015

    Published thinking on data assessments and trusted enterprise information.

  5. 2018

    BIWorx packaged as an add-on to SAP Information Steward. Engineering whitepapers on external file control and parallel IDoc workflows.

  6. 2020

    Bespoke operational analytics and data products across retail, hospitality and programme delivery.

  7. 2024

    Published work on duplicate customer data and S/4HANA data quality.

  8. 2026

    Ixia Data Quality AI 2.1: profiling, business rules, duplicate detection and AI-assisted analysis in one Ixia-engineered platform.

Deep SAP data experience

Ixia’s SAP data experience extends back to work contributing to the development of the SAP Data Migration Framework at SAP Labs in New York and Palo Alto, followed by multiple engagements with SAP AG and Special Expertise Partner status for Data Management in EMEA.
